1 & Half Hour Still Life

I actually found the still life a lot more difficult to draw than a self portrait. But I have drawn my face many, many times and I've only drawn these objects once.

Another Self Portrait

This picture started out as just a painting of a random lady's face in photoshop. Then I couldn't get the lighting right. So I used my face as the model. Then it started looking like some sort of weird hybrid between me and another person, which I found creepy. So I ended up just turning it into a self portrait. I think it took about 2 and something hours, I wasn't timing myself this time.

1 Hour Self Portrait

Interesting experiment. For the first half-hour I hated this thing. Finally started to like for the last half-hour, which then went by supper fast. I'd like to try it again for longer next time so I have more time for refining things. Although the one hour limit was great for making me work a lot faster.

Desert Planet: People

These three guys all come from the same world. Some sort of sci-fi desert planet with a combination of old and new tech.

Pigtails

Hooray for drawing the same character more than once! Something I really should do more of in my sketchbook.

Red Shoes

Converse turned out to be a lot more difficult to draw than I had initially expected.

Jasmine

Playing around with different ways of the digital coloring. Which is something that's fun to use fan art for since then I don't have to spend a bunch of time deciding what colors I want everything to be. Also textures. I love textures. They're great for transforming an image from sort of sketchy-like to finished very quickly.

Armor

Of the somewhat impractical variety. But her shoulders are very safe.
